Fair, those URLs went dead. However, upon updating the URLs, one app was still not accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a aria-label=\"undefined (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/developer?id=GMR%27s+Games\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wall Ball<\/a>. That&#8217;s because it doesn&#8217;t collect data on you. And what I mean by that is that when my privacy policy <a aria-label=\"undefined (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20210401203802\/https:\/\/gmr.dev\/privacy\/wallball.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">looked like this<\/a>, Google rejected the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/lbG4p2j.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>But, it&#8217;s true. Wall Ball doesn&#8217;t actually contain any ads or collect any data about anyone or anything. It simply runs as a small free game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/wp3NZSe.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/MSTpMMR.png\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption>Removed notices from Play Console&#8230;<br><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/2IDxyzO.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>However, I&#8217;ve updated the privacy policy URL to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\" https:\/\/gmr.dev\/privacy\/wallball2.html\"> https:\/\/gmr.dev\/privacy\/wallball2.html<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Which basically just says I have ads in the game even though I don&#8217;t&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whereas the link on the main <a aria-label=\"undefined (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/gmr.dev\/privacy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">privacy policy page<\/a> goes to the &#8220;real&#8221; one:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gmr.dev\/privacy\/wallball.html\">https:\/\/gmr.dev\/privacy\/wallball.html<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So we&#8217;ll see if Google accepts it this time. \ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But hey, maybe it&#8217;s just their idea of an April Fools joke. \ud83d\ude1b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a aria-label=\"undefined (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.gmr.wallball\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">*EDIT* GUESS WHOSE APP IS BACK ON THE STORE! \ud83d\ude00 <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/kP0pLEJ.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n<hr>\r\nIt helps me if you share this post\r\n<br\/>\r\n<br\/>\r\nPublished 2021-04-01 13:59:10 ","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Google unpublished a couple of my apps the other day for having out of date privacy policies.
